Terms of Service

Last updated October 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Rocket Mutual (“Rocket Mutual,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using our website, apps, or text messaging program (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and a resident of the United States to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Crew plan owners may invite up to three additional members. Each member agrees to these Terms and controls which of their own accounts they share.

2. What the Service does

Rocket Mutual aggregates read-only financial information from accounts you connect, and provides budgeting, goal, bill-tracking, debt planning, and alert tools. Rocket Mutual is not a bank, broker, or financial advisor, and nothing in the Service is financial, tax, or legal advice.

The Fuel Gauge score is an informational wellness indicator. It is not a credit score and is not used for any lending decision.

3. Account connections

You authorize Rocket Mutual and its data-connection providers to access your financial institution data on your behalf, on a read-only basis. We cannot initiate transfers or payments. Data may be delayed or incomplete, and we don't guarantee its accuracy.

4. Subscriptions & billing

  • Solo is $7/month and Crew is $12/month, or discounted when billed annually.
  • Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime in Settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Free trials convert to a paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.

5. SMS / Mobile messaging terms

Program name & description. "Rocket Mutual Alerts" is the Rocket Mutual text messaging program. Messages are recurring automated account notifications: low-balance and unusual-spending alerts, bill-due and goal-milestone reminders, weekly recaps, Fuel Gauge score changes, demo scheduling and reminders, and service updates. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

Opt-in. You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box (unchecked by default) at sign-up or in Settings. Texting is optional — consent is not a condition of purchase or of using Rocket Mutual. After opting in, you'll receive a confirmation text: "Rocket Mutual: You're enrolled in Rocket Mutual Alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your alert settings and account activity.

Rates. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel (we also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, STOP ALL, and reasonable equivalents). You will receive one confirmation text that you've been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent after that. You can also turn off texts in Settings or by emailing support@rocketmutual.com.

Opting back in. To resubscribe, reply START (or UNSTOP) to our number, or re-enable texts in Settings or re-check the consent box.

Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@rocketmutual.com.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major US carriers.

Eligibility & your number. You must be 18 or older and the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you enroll. Please tell us if you change or lose your number.

Privacy. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your mobile information.

6. Acceptable use

  • Don't misuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service.
  • Don't connect accounts you aren't authorized to access.
  • Don't use the Service for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Rocket Mutual name, logo, Fuel Gauge, Crew Budgets, and Orbit features, is owned by Rocket Mutual and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use it for personal purposes.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rocket Mutual disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on information in the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On closure, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes by email or in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
